Hey buddy, haven't heard from you in a while.

Lvl. 26 is just like 25 except you have to hear them in order. It's ridiculous cuz it's impossible for me to name the low notes. the Ab and A are just low and lower, I can't tell them by pitch.

but i thought lvl. 15 was impossible at one point, and every level after, but it's just a matter of time. I predict/hope I'll hit lvl. 36 by the end of the year.

the super low notes are sharp

I find clicking them instead of keyboard entry helped

at 27 u get the super high notes which are flat and 95%. ..

I grinded out 26 for 3 weeks everyday

keep at it!

If Clint wants, now that we have a more objective testimony of how MIDI sucks compared to human perception (it used to be just me complaining about this), can someone tune MIDI like how a piano tuner tunes a piano?

It's been done I know with my electronic piano, but those may be just samples, lol.

Of course, learning to call a note one name, and then periodically another name for certain instances just to pass prolobe may be beneficial (I've done it!).....you know......in case they ever decide to change the alphabet.

<sarcasm!, lol>

Yea earthy, 27+ just gets more annoying. Because the low notes aren't really all "that sharp" compared to where the highest notes on MIDI reach at least a half-step step flat.

And to top it off, you thought level 26 was annoying you have to suffer all that much more false intonation bullshit in addition to not, 2, not 3, not 4, but 5 note chords at level 30! (Dude I was break dancing w/o knowing how to break dance when I first passed that level)

Then it should be smooth sailing to level 36 which is really hard because (which I love Clint doing this) you do have to learn the instruments actual ranges which does help as a musician to get this level right. If you're like me, timbre shouldn't throw you off at this point, but you have to get the octave correct. If you can do this, I say put it on your resume (in full description) for any band director application. (I love this level too because I used it to screw over this "born-with" older guy that is full of himself too when I tested him on this level).

Just feel like you're smarter than the damn machine at times, because your drills fix 'its' problems.

I'm back on the routine, here I come.

Clint really should get a grant for this program and it should be used nationwide.

Welcome back. I've taken a break from prolobe too, not taking it seriously, but I'll be back...

Yea, that's good. I used to be pretty obsessive about this program, haha. But I had to 'cheat' on my undergrad ear-training tests too at the time!

Go for it! LVL 36 is a pain in the ass from what I remember. I think that and lvl 30 (the one with the 5-note chords) are the two hardest lvls on this program. I might try to cam-cord the lvl 36 sometime.
