One question: How exactly does the course progress, and do the tone triggers cover all the octaves (I mean, are the tone triggers played in all octaves, like the ones at http://home.comcast.net/~barry.oreilly/, or does the course have the same limitations of ToneTest available at Mr. Aruffo's website )? Thanks guys :D--I know this isn't technically the right forum to post this question in, but it won't let me comment on the Pitch Paths Youtube channel and I'm having some trouble with contacting Prof. Jobst as well (probably because the question is kind of stupid, but I need to be 100% certain that it's what I'm looking for before I clunk down 22 non-refundable dollars ;). |

No your question isn't stupid, and even if it was Professor Jobst would probably take the time to answer it -- if he had the time, that is. Pitch Paths only does single pitches across one octave, but I thought the $22 was worth the extra guidance and encouragement. However, if you can already easily enough recognize all twelve tones when played individually then Pitch Paths might prove to be too basic for you. |
