Is it fair to be tested on the really low notes?? Sometimes I hear a laser sound when there's just low notes. I have to guess everytime...

below C they start taking on a weird quality because of the overtones.

just listen to them, they're different

Thanks. Yea, the low A and B especially can be confusing.

I remember I was stuck at level 15 for a really long time, like maybe a month or two. I thought I would never get past it, but I did. So I guess I just gotta be patient and keep at it.

use headphones or speakers with a sub,
you wont get a good representation of a0 out of laptop speakers

use the midi out and play the sounds using a good source - soundfont as mentioned

I HATE the really low notes too, but I made it to level 25 - I have a slight hearing loss and low notes are just out of the question, it's so frustrating when I have no problem with other notes. I used headphones, no special soundfont (but soundfonts are very useful).
