Hallo! I haven't got that course, but I was taking place in web seminar few times made by Katia Keller, and I was reading about that course. I'm interested in developing AP from 4 years. I collected lot of information about it and have also courses: Pure Pitch Method and Pitch Paths. If' You would like to share some info or courses,my e-mail: jazzpianist@orange.pl - i'll send You some materials. Greetings, Marcin |

burge is still the best two courses to start with. Pure pitch is total garbage. I've tried it. Also read this -- http://www.richardbosworth.org/pure-pitch-review.htm http://www.richardbosworth.org/my-ear-training-reviews.htm |

The only thing Ryan Cameron and his Pure Pitch method have inspired me to do is murder. |

I've listened to the Burge course and it isn't worth much. The method with the best track record is available for free. |

HI Adam08, I haven't bought the MAP either but I'm interested as time goes on what you think of it. Please report back to us after you've spent some time working with it (especially if you think it's helping and worth the price, etc.) |

Hi, I am looking into the M.A.P method and would like to know if you got good results after using it. It is quite a lot of money to pay if the results are minimal. |

Really, it depends on what your expectations are. Her course isn't going to teach you anything practical, that's for sure. |

... and I find the Pure Pitch method absolutely infuriating. That guy is nothing short of a con artist. |

I got the first version of Map Lite. At the moment, I am able to recall and sing the 4 notes G, Ab, E and B . I can recognize them when I play them on my piano or guitar. |

Katja Keller is a hack that makes Burge look like a saint -- man I hate her. Her method is a complete waste of time by the way. |

Why do you say that Nikolaus ? did you buy her method and it did not work for you? It seams that Luka had some results with that and I also listen few fragments of her seminars and some of the things make sens to me but I'm not sure how to apply them . So please the ones who bought it give as some hints how it works or upload the method somewhere.10x |

I say this because her course is absolutely worthless and will leave you with nothing of any practical value whatsoever -- it's exactly the direction that ear training pedagogy should NOT go in. My words are harsh, but all this women has ever tried to do is extract every last penny from anyone interested in developing perfect pitch. At least the Burge course left me with a practical skill, but that was only after practicing his so-called perfect pitch exercises consistently over the course of many months. Madame Keller's course, on the other hand, left me with nothing. Luka was paid to write that by the way. Made my blood boil at the time, but I neglected to mentioned it. |

Her method is about using as many of your senses to create a specific and unique "world" for each tone, much like Graham English with his "Absolute Pitch Power" course did. Neither did it work well enough for me, but I do believe in its effectiveness for others. What you should not expect from the "M.A.P. Lite" is to learn perfect pitch to the degree it could be developed according to her claims. For that you will most likely need to spend more money. |

Man, I need to come up with my own scam. The 1st chapter of my ear-training manual makes too much sense to seduce people into giving me money for it. People want fantasy and pay a lot for it. |

what do you mean by being able to identify a pitch but having no practical use? how can you identify pitches but not be able to use them |

Practical as in it being adaptable to real-time music, I suppose he means. "Musical literacy" as Nikk also likes to call it. Peace, Elcon |
